The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has rolled out its comprehensive manifesto for the DUSU elections scheduled for September 27. Launched on Saturday, the manifesto aims to tackle various student welfare issues effectively.
NSUI national president Varun Choudhary stated that the manifesto embodies a holistic approach to address student welfare, including provisions for students' overall development, their rights, and the enhancement of campus infrastructure. He assured that the NSUI is devoted to fulfilling every commitment outlined.
The Congress-affiliated NSUI revealed its candidates for various posts in the DUSU polls. Contesting are Ronak Khatri (president), Yash Nandal (vice president), Namrata Jeph Meena (secretary), and Lokesh Choudhary (joint secretary). Choudhary expressed confidence in securing a 4-0 victory, emphasizing that their candidates are deeply connected to student issues and have a strong record of advocating for student rights.
