Pixelloid Studios, an esteemed visual effects company based in Hyderabad, India, has reached a significant milestone with Disney's Shogun clinching an Emmy for 'Outstanding Special Visual Effects'. A dedicated team of 150 artists at Pixelloid delivered over 2,800 VFX shots, bringing the world of feudal Japan to vivid life.
Remarkably, Shogun has won a record 18 Emmy awards, the most ever for a show in a single season. Overseeing the visual effects was VFX Supervisor Michael Cliett, who has a longstanding collaboration with Pixelloid, having worked on noted Indian films like Sri Rama Rajyam and Businessman.
