A sweeping indictment was unsealed accusing him of using his power and prestige for these crimes. Combs has pleaded not guilty and his attorney maintains his innocence.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs, the renowned hip-hop mogul, now faces a series of grave allegations including sex trafficking, forced labor, and acts of violence. A federal indictment unsealed on Tuesday charges Combs with orchestrating a network of sexual abuse, utilizing his influence to facilitate these crimes.
The indictment accuses Combs of running a sordid empire involving female victims and male sex workers in drug-fueled sexual events termed as "Freak Offs." This dark side of his empire is said to include blackmail, violence, and the coercion of women over years, coordinated by a network of associates.
Despite his attorney's assertion of innocence and plans to appeal the bail decision, the gravity of the charges leaves Combs awaiting trial behind bars, with prosecutors readying to present a wealth of evidence against him.
