Odisha Welcomes PM Modi on His 74th Birthday with New Initiatives
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended their greetings. Modi visited Odisha to launch the Subhadra Yojana for women and announce major infrastructure projects. The scheme aims to economically empower women with financial aid over five years.

Odisha Governor Raghubar Das and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 74th birthday.
During his visit to Odisha, PM Modi is set to launch the state government's flagship woman-centric initiative, Subhadra Yojana, along with railway and national highway projects worth over Rs 3,800 crore. Extending his best wishes to the Prime Minister on the occasion, Das said, “Our nation will achieve new heights of development and progress under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM, Viksit Bharat.”
Chief Minister Majhi also warmly greeted PM Modi, lauding his unparalleled leadership and expressing hopes for a 'Viksit Bharat'. He mentioned that the people of Odisha are particularly excited for the launch of the Subhadra scheme aimed at the economic empowerment of women in the state.
The Subhadra scheme will provide Rs 50,000 to eligible women aged 21-60 over a span of five years, from 2024-25 to 2028-29, aimed at improving their economic conditions.
