Union Home Minister Amit Shah, speaking at the fourth Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan on Hindi Diwas, underscored the complementary relationship between Hindi and other Indian languages. He stated that Hindi cannot flourish without the strengthening of other local languages.

Shah remarked that the adoption of Hindi as the official language has been instrumental in preserving and promoting India's cultural heritage over the past 75 years. He emphasized that Hindi connects all other regional languages, and together they enrich the nation's linguistic landscape.

Shah also announced the development of 'Kanthasth,' a government tool designed to facilitate translation between Hindi and other Indian languages using Artificial Intelligence, further strengthening linguistic ties and official communications across the country.
