The Ram Temple Construction Committee chairperson, Nripendra Misra, announced on Friday that the work on the Ram Temple complex is targeted for completion by June 30, 2025.

Friday marked the second day of the three-day meeting of the Ram Temple Construction Committee in Ayodhya. Misra provided a detailed timeline stating, "The construction of the temple's 'Shikhar' (spire) will take approximately 120 days. Our initial target was December, but this is not feasible. The spire will be completed by February 2025. The idols of the Sapta Mandir being crafted in Jaipur and the idols of sages and saints will be installed by December 2024. The entire Ram Mandir complex will be finished by June 30, 2025."

Anil Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, highlighted the logistical efforts being made to ensure the timely delivery of essential construction materials and the engagement of a substantial workforce. The meeting also discussed the near completion of the first floor and ongoing flooring work on the same level, adorned with pristine white marble in the sanctum sanctorum. Additionally, Apollo Hospitals will provide emergency health services starting from the Navratri festival.

More than 1,600 workers are dedicated to this monumental project. The temples of Sapt Mandap are also under rapid construction, and GMR has been assigned the decoration work, including the maintenance of lush greenery. On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi consecrated a new idol of Ram Lalla, marking a significant milestone and advocating for a strong, capable, and divine India of the future.
