Vishal Bhardwaj Reunites with Shahid Kapoor for Action-Packed Entertainer

Ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is teaming up again with Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor for a significant action movie, co-starring Triptii Dimri and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film marks their first collaboration since 2017’s 'Rangoon'.

Film industry stalwart Vishal Bhardwaj is reuniting with Shahid Kapoor for an action-centric feature film. Actress Triptii Dimri has been cast as the female lead, with the project being produced under Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, the producers announced in a press release.

The as-yet-untitled film represents a 'big action commercial entertainer', marking a return to collaboration for Bhardwaj and Kapoor who first worked together on 'Kaminey' 15 years ago, followed by 'Haider' and 'Rangoon'.

'I am excited to join hands again with the tremendous Sajid Nadiadwala and the talented Shahid Kapoor. Adding Tripti Dimri to this dream team is fantastic,' said Bhardwaj. Nadiadwala lauded Bhardwaj as a 'genius director' and Kapoor as a 'phenomenal powerhouse' performer. Shooting for the movie is set to commence soon.
