Actor Varun Dhawan has condemned paparazzi for their insensitive actions following the death of Malaika Arora's father, Anil Arora. In an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday, Dhawan expressed frustration, calling the behavior of pointing cameras at grieving individuals 'the most insensitive thing.'
Dhawan urged photographers to be mindful of grieving individuals, stating, 'Please consider what you are doing and how it affects those in mourning. I understand it's your job, but remember that people might not be comfortable with this.' He included the hashtag #humanity in his post. Earlier that day, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, visited Malaika Arora's father's residence to offer their condolences.
Several other celebrities, including Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Chunky Panday, and Ananya Panday, also showed up to pay their respects. The Khan family, including Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, and Salma Khan, were seen arriving amidst the crowd of photographers.
Meanwhile, Mumbai police announced that Malaika Arora's father's death 'prima facie' appears to be a suicide. DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roshan, informed media that all angles are being probed, and the deceased's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. 'We are investigating all angles in detail,' Roshan stated. Malaika Arora was reportedly in Pune at the time of her father's death and rushed back to Mumbai upon hearing the news.
