Series of Heartbreaking Tragedies Strike 24-Year-Old Shruti

24-year-old Shruti faced immense tragedy after losing her family to catastrophic landslides in Kerala's Wayanad district. Shortly thereafter, her fiancé, Jenson, who was her emotional support, succumbed to injuries from a devastating car accident. Shruti's life has been upended by a series of heartbreaking events.

In a tragic turn of events, 24-year-old Shruti of Wayanad, Kerala, is grappling with multiple personal losses within the span of a few weeks. Her family perished in landslides on July 30, and now her fiancé, Jenson, has succumbed to injuries from a severe car accident.

Shruti, an accountant at a hospital in Kozhikode district, lost her entire family, including her parents and sister, in the catastrophic landslides that struck Chooralmala and Mundakkai villages. Jenson, who had been her support system during these tough times, passed away on Wednesday at 8.50 pm in a private hospital.

Jenson's car crashed head-on with a bus on September 10, leaving him in critical condition. Despite receiving intensive care at Dr Moopen Medical College, he could not survive the severe injuries. The couple, set for a simple court-registered marriage in September, had a 10-year-long courtship. Shruti's emotional and financial crises are amplified by the loss of her family's property and valuables in the landslide.
