The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that entry will be free for spectators under 18 years of age during the Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE, with ticket prices starting at 5 Dirhams.
Scheduled from October 3 to October 20, the 10-team event will feature 23 matches, including the semi-finals in Dubai and Sharjah, and the final in Dubai. The move aims to boost crowd attendance and create a lasting legacy for women's cricket in the region.
ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice expressed excitement over the diversity in the UAE, making it a 'home World Cup' for all teams.
