Thousands of devotees flocked to the Ladli temple in Barsana to celebrate Radha Ashtami, paying homage to 'Radha Rani' in a grand ceremony. The deity was bathed in an 'Abhishek' ceremony with 51 quintals of milk, curd, honey, and other substances during the early hours of the morning.

The ceremony, held amid chants of Vedic hymns, was followed by an 'aarti' and 'darshan'. The deity was adorned with attire and ornaments valued at Rs 31 lakh. Pilgrims also participated in a traditional 'parikrama' around Gahvar Van, singing religious songs as drones showered rose petals from above.

In light of the massive turnout, extensive security measures were enacted, including the deployment of additional police forces and installation of barbed fencing around key areas to prevent accidents. The event concluded without any untoward incidents, marking yet another peaceful and lavish celebration of Radha Ashtami.
