Ajay Devgn's highly anticipated movie 'Raid 2' is now set to hit theatres on February 21, 2025, the filmmakers announced on Wednesday.

The movie is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster 'Raid', where Devgn played IRS officer Amay Patnaik. Initially slated for a November 15 release, the new date promises more action, intensity, and suspense.

T-Series announced the release date on Instagram, stating, 'Bringing back the action, intensity, and suspense your way! #Raid2 releasing on 21st February 2025!' The film will also focus on the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department and narrate a true case from their archives.

Alongside Ajay Devgn, the sequel will feature Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh, who plays the antagonist. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who helmed the first part, the film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under T-Series and Panorama Studios.

The original 'Raid', also featuring Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz, was based on a real-life raid by the Income Tax Department in the 1980s. Devgn's recent releases include 'Maidaan' and 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha', with 'Singham Again' being his upcoming project with Rohit Shetty.
