Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Visits Tirupati Temple and Mauritius, Discusses Key Initiatives
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visited the Tirupati temple in Andhra Pradesh to offer prayers and was honored by temple officials. He also visited Mauritius, meeting with the President and Prime Minister to discuss cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and drug-free initiatives.

Spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, paid a visit to the renowned hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday morning to offer prayers. The temple officials honored him with silk clothes, and devotees also gathered to seek blessings from Lord Balaji early in the day.
The temple is devoted to Venkateswara, a manifestation of Vishnu believed to have come to earth to rescue humanity from the trials of the Kali Yuga. Consequently, the site is referred to as Kaliyuga Vaikuntha, and the local deity is known as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. Recently, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar also visited Mauritius as part of his four-day tour.
Upon arrival in Mauritius, he was received by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Prithvirajsing Roopun, and the Prime Minister, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth. During his meeting with the Prime Minister, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar discussed various topics, including the preservation of Mauritian culture and the vision of achieving a drug-free Mauritius. He also met with the President, highlighting issues such as youth empowerment, the promotion of harmony through stress elimination programs, the introduction of Ayurveda to Mauritius, and the impact of various ongoing Art of Living programs, including the Prison Program.
