Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, accompanied by her mother Brinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, paid a visit to the GSB Ganesh pandal in Mumbai to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesh. The trio embraced the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi, dressed in traditional ethnic wear.

On Monday, Aishwarya Rai in a pink kurta set and Aaradhya in a yellow kurta waded through the bustling crowd to their car after the darshan. The GSB Ganesh pandal ranks among Mumbai's premium spots for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, drawing celebrities throughout the festival.

Other stars, including Kartik Aaryan, also visited different pandals, such as the Lal Baugcha Raja pandal. Ganesh Chaturthi, which started on September 7, is a ten-day Hindu festival devoted to Lord Ganesha, esteemed for his wisdom and as the 'Remover of Obstacles.'

The festival sees Mumbai and Maharashtra transformed, with homes and public spaces covered in elaborate decorations. The air resonates with prayers, music, and chants, while vibrant street processions and rituals add to the urban tapestry. People prepare sumptuous offerings and visit elaborately adorned pandals.

The pervasive joy and excitement of Ganesh Chaturthi are evident in the energized crowds, colourful settings, and the enticing scent of festive sweets. Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starred in Mani Ratnam's notable period dramas 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.
