Bittu Bajrangi, also known as Rajkumar Panchal, submitted his nomination as an independent candidate for the NIT assembly segment in Faridabad on Monday.
Haryana is gearing up for assembly elections scheduled on October 5, according to District Election Officer Vikram Singh.
Bajarangi, the founder of Gau Raksha Bajrang Force, comes with a controversial background, including accusations related to the Nuh violence that erupted last July during a procession by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and led to widespread chaos and fatalities.
