Aamir Khan Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi, Prepares for New Film Ventures

Bollywood icon Aamir Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at his sister's home in Mumbai. He is also busy prepping for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. His production house is bringing 'Lahore 1947', starring Sunny Deol, highlighting an iconic collaboration.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is reveling in the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi. He recently visited his sister Nikhat's residence in Mumbai to perform Lord Ganesha's arti.

Visuals released by Aamir's team show the actor donned in traditional attire, celebrating with his family. He was accompanied by his son Azad. On the professional side, Aamir Khan is busy prepping for his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. In this venture, he stars alongside Genelia Deshmukh and also serves as producer under Aamir Khan Productions.

Slated for release in the coming months, Aamir is also helming 'Lahore 1947' as a producer. The film, featuring Sunny Deol in the lead role and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, boasts a stellar cast including Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal.

This film marks the first collaboration between Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol. Fans recall their box-office clashes: 'Dil' vs. 'Ghayal' in 1990, 'Raja Hindustani' vs. 'Ghatak' in 1996, and the epic 'Lagaan' vs. 'Gadar' in 2001. 'Lahore 1947' also reunites Aamir with Santoshi, after their cult hit 'Andaz Apna Apna'.
