Bollywood's Shilpa Shetty on Saturday warmly welcomed Lord Ganesha into her home to mark Ganesh Chaturthi. Shetty took to Instagram, sharing a heartwarming video of her performing the Aarti with her husband, Raj Kundra, and their daughter, Samisha, as they celebrated Ganpati Bappa's arrival.

Several celebrities were spotted arriving at Shilpa's residence on Saturday morning to partake in the celebrations. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife, Tahira Kashyap, were seen making their way to the festivities.

Tushar Kapoor, dressed in a yellow and white kurta pyjama, was also present. Newlyweds Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani visited Shilpa's home to extend their festive greetings after welcoming Lord Ganesha at their own residence.

Shilpa's sister, actress Shamita Shetty, joined her family in celebrating the occasion. Ganesh Chaturthi, a lively ten-day festival, began today and will persist until Anantha Chaturdashi. The festival, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi, honours Lord Ganesha as the 'God of New Beginnings' and the 'Remover of Obstacles,' celebrating his wisdom.

Across Maharashtra and beyond, preparations for Ganesh Chaturthi were in full swing. Devotees welcomed Ganesha idols into their homes, offered prayers, and visited colorful pandals. The streets echoed with devotion and joy as people joined together in festive enthusiasm. Vibrant decorations, lively chants, and the fragrance of sweets enhanced the celebratory spirit felt everywhere. (ANI)
