Actor Esha Deol sent a powerful message about women's empowerment as she welcomed Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi. In an interview with ANI, Deol stated, 'We all feel blessed when we welcome Bappa home...This Ganesh Chaturthi, I wish all women in my country always live freely and fearlessly.'

The vibrant ten-day festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, kicking off today, is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across India. Devotees are busy with preparations like bringing Ganesh idols home, observing fasts, making traditional offerings, and visiting elaborately decorated pandals.

Earlier, actor Ananya Panday shared her festive spirit on Instagram, posting photos of her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at home. Dressed in a mint green ethnic outfit, she appeared joyful and devout as she paid her respects to the deity. 'Welcome home Bappppa,' she captioned.

Meanwhile, actor Kartik Aaryan embraced the celebrations by visiting Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja. He shared his experience on Instagram, captioning his post, 'HE is back... and so am I for his blessings. Modak Party Begins!!! Ganpati Bappa Morya.'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his warm wishes through a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, 'Heartiest greetings of Ganesh Chaturthi to all countrymen. Ganpati Bappa Morya!'
