Maharashtra's Leaders Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with Devotion and Pomp

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday welcomed Lord Ganesh at his official residence in south Mumbai, signaling the start of the 10-day festival dedicated to the elephant-headed deity.
Shinde, joined by his wife and MP son Shrikant Shinde, conducted a 'puja' at Varsha, the official residence. He later emphasized the state's good monsoon this year and assured support for farmers affected by excessive rainfall.
Notably, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other politicians, including Nitin Gadkari, Uddhav Thackeray, and Chhagan Bhujbal, also participated in various celebrations, highlighting Maharashtra's rich cultural and political tapestry.
