The recently concluded Paris Games were widely successful, captivating fans, athletes, sponsors, and broadcasters. LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover, while praising the Paris organizers for an 'incredible Games,' acknowledged that LA has its own strengths. 'Every city has a personality. In LA, we have our own iconic sporting venues and a unique ability to unite the world through sport,' Hoover told Reuters.

Hoover emphasized that Los Angeles has a rich Olympic legacy, mentioning the roles Hollywood played in the 1932 and 1984 Games. As LA prepares for 2028, the aim is to raise the bar for future hosts, including Brisbane in 2032. Despite challenges, Hoover remains optimistic, particularly about sustainable and efficient transport plans. 'We will deliver the largest and most memorable Olympics ever,' he said, unfazed by upcoming U.S elections.
