In a tragic turn of events, three pilgrims lost their lives after being run over by a train in Rajasthan's Karauli district. The incident occurred late Thursday night.

The deceased, Shyam (14), Darshan alias Kalu (41), and Tarun (31), were hit by the Delhi-Indore Superfast Express near Neemoda station, according to Narauli Dang Station House Officer (SHO) Abjeet Kumar.

The victims were on a religious padyatra from Gangapur to Ranthambore and were forced to walk on the railway tracks due to rain-induced waterlogging. They hailed from Harijan Basti in Gangapur city, where their families were informed on Friday morning.
