Two students from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, have clinched their third consecutive victory at the National Inter-college Crossword Expedition (NICE). The event, organized by AICTE in cooperation with IIT Madras, aims to foster intellectual growth among students.

Arush Utkarsh and Harshul Sagar from IIT Delhi emerged as the champions after four rigorous online rounds and five zonal rounds, leading to the Grand Finale in New Delhi. Close behind on the leaderboard was VKS Gayatri from BITS Pilani's Hyderabad campus, noted for her exceptional prowess in solving cryptic clues.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) emphasized the importance of such events. Secretary S. Krishnan remarked, 'Crosswords are more than just a leisure activity. They promote lateral thinking, recall abilities, and nuanced understanding of complex concepts, essential for future leaders in technical education.'
