Manas National Park Reopens: A Sanctuary of Biodiversity

Manas National Park and Tiger Reserve is set to welcome tourists again from October 1, 2024, as announced by park director C Ramesh on Thursday. The UNESCO World Heritage site had been closed since June 20 due to the monsoon season.
Famed for its rich biodiversity, the park is home to species like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant, Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros, and more. In total, nearly 450 bird species have been identified at the site.
As the park reopens, visitors can anticipate engaging in wildlife safaris, bird-watching, and exploring its pristine natural environment, ensuring an unforgettable experience, added Ramesh.
