Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the unwavering strength of India's spiritual traditions while addressing the 'Pran-Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ramnathaswamy Temple on Thursday. He noted that Ayodhya and Tamil Nadu share a deep historical connection dating back thousands of years.
Adityanath elaborated that thousands of years ago, Lord Shri Ram worshipped Lord Shiva in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu before venturing to Sri Lanka in search of Mother Sita. Participating in various rituals, Adityanath highlighted the newly-consecrated Shivalinga at the South Indian-style temple in Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister hailed the temple's construction as a significant step in realizing Prime Minister Modi's 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' vision, promoting India's unity and spiritual consciousness. He further lauded spiritual leader Ayyaji's efforts for national unity, which also resonated in the remarks made by former RSS Sar Karyavahak Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, who marveled at the temple's role in connecting North and South India.
