The 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) kicks off this week, with the opening ceremony slated for Sept. 5. The lineup includes over 100 films and television series, promising a star-studded event filled with cinematic excitement.
The festival begins with the world premiere of 'Nutcrackers,' directed by David Gordon Green and featuring Ben Stiller. Closing the event on Sept. 15 is Rebel Wilson's directorial debut, 'The Deb.'
This year, prestigious guests like Selena Gomez, Will Ferrell, and Bruce Springsteen will grace the red carpet. Angelina Jolie will be honored with the TIFF Tribute Award in Impact Media.
