Star-Powered Spectacle: Highlights of BFI London Film Festival

The 2023 BFI London Film Festival is set to dazzle with star-studded premieres, including a documentary on Elton John's final U.S. live shows and Angelina Jolie's biopic on Maria Callas.
Opening the festival for the third time, acclaimed director Steve McQueen will debut his World War Two drama, 'Blitz'. The film stars Saoirse Ronan as a London mother navigating the perils of wartime to protect her son.
The festival lineup also includes Vatican thriller 'Conclave' with Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Craig's drug-addicted role in 'Queer', and Cannes winner 'Anora'. Other notable entries are 'The Apprentice' about a young Donald Trump, and Amy Adams in 'Nightbitch'. The event will close with Pharrell Williams' Lego biopic 'Piece by Piece'.
