In a historic gathering at the Dalai Lama's residence in Dharamsala, members of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation's board, foundation members, and six distinguished award recipients met with the Tibetan spiritual leader on Wednesday.

During the event, Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation President Susanna B Afan officially launched a seven-volume series titled 'The Greatness of Spirit: Stories of Love, Courage, and Service', commemorating the 65th anniversary of the prestigious award. The series highlights the extraordinary courage and altruism of 326 individuals and 22 organizations across Asia who have received the Ramon Magsaysay Award since 1958.

Following the audience, Foundation CEO Cheche Laze described the meeting with the Dalai Lama as a deeply blessed and unforgettable experience. Previous awardees, including Aruna Roy and T M Krishna, shared their reflections, emphasizing the profound influence and guidance of His Holiness.
