The beloved Pakistani television series 'Humsafar' is making its way to the Indian stage, with veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt serving as the presenter. The adaptation is spearheaded by actor Imran Zahid, Bhatt's protege, who is well-versed in staging critically-acclaimed films.

Zahid revealed that an agreement has been reached with 'Humsafar' creator Momina Duraid to bring the show to Indian audiences. The initiative seeks to rejuvenate the cultural exchange between India and Pakistan, which has faced numerous obstacles in recent years.

With strong backing, including recent Indian court rulings supporting the involvement of Pakistani artists, the stage adaptation aims to begin production in December. This initiative aims to leverage art and culture as a bridge between the two nations.
