American Woman Denies Charges in London Court Amid Extradition Battle
Kimberlee Singler, 36, faces extradition to the U.S. over accusations of murdering two of her children and attempting to kill a third. Denying the charges in a London court, she argues that a life sentence without parole breaches human rights. The court hearing will continue on Thursday.
In a London court, Kimberlee Singler, 36, denied charges related to the murder of her two children and the attempted killing of a third, as she fought extradition to the United States.
Singler, who has been charged in Colorado with multiple counts including first-degree murder, is alleged to have killed her nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son in December 2023. Prosecutors claim she shot the children in the head and stabbed them in the neck amid a custody battle with her ex-partner.
The defense argues that if extradited and convicted, Singler faces a mandatory life sentence without parole, which breaches her human rights. The court proceedings are set to continue on Thursday.
