Pooja Hegde Wraps Up Shooting for Shahid Kapoor's Action Thriller 'Deva'

Actor Pooja Hegde announced the completion of her shooting for the upcoming action thriller 'Deva', led by Shahid Kapoor and directed by Rosshan Andrews. The film is set to release on February 14, 2025, and features Hegde as a journalist, Kapoor as a police officer, produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios.

Actor Pooja Hegde on Wednesday announced she has completed shooting for her upcoming movie 'Deva', which features Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.

Billed as a power-packed action thriller, the movie is directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews, known for “Udayananu Tharam” and “Notebook”.

Hegde, famous for her roles in ''Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo'', ''Most Eligible Bachelor'', and ''Beast'', shared the news on her Instagram Stories, posting a photo of a handwritten message from the team complimenting her performance and dedication to the film. “The Sweetest. Thank you @roykapurfilms #DEVA #itsawrap,” she wrote.

In 'Deva', Hegde portrays a determined journalist, while Kapoor plays a rebellious police officer in a high-profile case involving deceit and betrayal.

The movie, produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios, is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2025. Hegde also has two other films in the pipeline: “Surya 44” with Tamil superstar Suriya and “Sanki”, a Sajid Nadiadwala home production.
