Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur recently felt a tinge of the Internet slang term FOMO (fear of missing out) when he was absent from Instagram posts celebrating his granddaughter's birthday, leading him to briefly consider joining social media.

Kapur, renowned for his roles in TV series like 'Karamchand' and films such as 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro' and 'Maqbool,' is known for his reclusive nature. The actor, father to Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, who celebrated his daughter Misha's eighth birthday on August 26, shared his thoughts in an interview with PTI.

Discussing his upcoming role in 'Binny and Family,' directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, Kapur highlighted the film's exploration of generational relationships, emphasizing its relatability for audiences. Kapur, who plays grandfather to Anjini Dhawan's Binny, praised the newcomer for her preparation and performance. The film, produced by Mahaveer Jain Films & Wave Band Productions, releases on September 20.
