Jr NTR Pledges Rs 50 lakh for Andhra and Telangana Flood Relief
Telugu star Jr NTR pledged Rs 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana's Chief Minister's Relief Funds to aid flood relief efforts. The actor made the announcement on social media, expressing his hope for a swift recovery for affected residents. Jr NTR is also awaiting the release of his film 'Devara: Part 1'.
Telugu star Jr NTR has pledged to donate Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister's Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The funds aim to support the ongoing flood relief efforts prompted by torrential rains and the subsequent floods in the two states.
The Hyderabad-born actor announced his decision on social media platform X. Expressing his concern, Jr NTR wrote in Telugu, which translates to, 'I'm deeply moved by the recent floods in two Telugu states due to heavy rains. I pray to God that Telugu people recover from this calamity soon.'
'On my part, I am announcing a donation of Rs 50 lakhs each to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governments to help the measures taken by the Governments of the two Telugu States for relief from the flood disaster,' he added. The floods have resulted in at least 33 fatalities.
On the work front, Jr NTR is eagerly awaiting the release of his pan-India movie 'Devara: Part 1', set for release on September 27. The high-octane action drama, helmed by filmmaker Koratala Siva, features Jahnvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Jr NTR will also appear in the upcoming YRF spy universe film 'War 2', alongside Hrithik Roshan.
