The retrospective festival, 'ANR 100 - King Of The Silver Screen,' is organized by the Film Heritage Foundation (FHF). It will feature 10 restored classics from Rao's extensive filmography, according to a press release.

The film extravaganza runs from September 20 to 22 across 25 cities, including major metros like Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi, as well as smaller cities such as Warangal and Tumkur.

Films in the lineup include 'Devadasu' (1953), 'Missamma' (1955), and 'Manam' (2014). The event partners include the National Film Archive Of India (NFDC) and PVR INOX.

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, FHF director, expressed excitement, stating, 'This festival will showcase why these films continue to resonate.' Akkineni Nagarjuna, son of Nageswara Rao, added that the festival celebrates his father's landmark films across the country.
