Kidman plays her disapproving future mother-in-law, Greer Garrison Winbury, a murder mystery novelist who organizes a sumptuous wedding, only for a body to wash ashore on the big day, sparking an investigation.

The series, which premieres Thursday, also stars Liev Schreiber as family patriarch Tag. Schreiber shared that he needed some convincing to join the project but was eventually won over by the 'deliciously dark' storyline.
