Paw Protecc: Mars Petcare and Swiggy Instamart Shield Street Pets from Monsoon

Mars Petcare India and Swiggy Instamart have initiated Paw Protecc, aimed at protecting street animals during the monsoon season. The initiative has deployed nearly 150 shelters across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore to provide safe havens for street animals affected by harsh weather conditions.
With a shared vision of creating safer environments for animals, Mars Petcare and Swiggy Instamart are implementing recommendations from governmental and animal welfare experts. As part of the project, 20,000 nutritious meals have been pledged to support the vulnerable animals.
Partnering with NGOs like Friendicoes and Save Our Strays, Mars Petcare and Swiggy Instamart have strategically placed mobile shelters at 50 feeding points, ensuring essential food and water. The effort, in line with the Animal Welfare Board of India's guidelines, has also garnered social media support, leveraging campaigns around International Dog Day to raise awareness.
