Iconic singer Adele has announced that she will be taking a break from music, much to the dismay of her fans. The revelation came during her recent performance in Munich where the 'Skyfall' hitmaker revealed this news, according to Fox News.

'I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart,' she told the crowd. Several clips from the concert showed Adele informing her audience of her decision, leaving many of her fans heartbroken.

On social media platform X, fans reacted emotionally to the news. One user wrote, 'Come back with a bang Adele.' Another commented, 'Watching Adele live is literally my life's purpose. I will see you queen, however long it takes.'

Adele has been performing her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace since November 2022. She had initially announced this residency in 2021 but later postponed it, citing that the show wasn't ready.

Her final shows are scheduled from October 25 through November 23. Earlier this year, during another concert, Adele opened up about her struggles with fame and the pressures associated with it.

She referenced photos taken of her at an NBA game where she appeared upset, explaining that she was uncomfortable being filmed without her consent. 'Do you remember that viral meme of me looking like I don't give a flying f---?' she asked, mimicking the expression from the famous photos taken at the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.

She further elaborated, 'The reason I looked like my lips had filler—because I got naturally big lips, right, I don't need filler—was because I was sulking as people were filming me against my will.' She added that she was unaware the footage would be broadcast on TV.

Adele's last album, '30,' was released in 2021, and her hiatus from music follows her recent discussions about the impact of fame on her life. (ANI)
