Former Singapore president Halimah Yacob and her husband were part of a 25,000-strong audience at A R Rahman's concert, where the maestro performed iconic Tamil and Hindi hits.

Welcomed with thunderous applause, Rahman began Saturday's show with 'Jai Ho' from 'Slumdog Millionaire'. A 31-member troupe, including his son A R Ameen, joined him on stage.

Indian playback singers Mohit Chauhan and Rakshita Suresh also performed, while fans went wild for 'Veerapandi Kotayyile' and 'Mukkala Mukkabala'. The evening included Bollywood hits and nostalgic rap performances, enveloping the stadium with energy.
