Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, returned to the U.S. Open not to compete, but to watch. On Saturday, she made her first visit since her last professional match in 2022, sporting a denim skirt reminiscent of her 2004 look.

Since retiring, Williams has stayed busy with business ventures, a book deal, a documentary series airing on ESPN, and hosting the ESPYS. She also welcomed her second daughter a year ago.

This time around, Williams was seen in a suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium, where she watched Jannik Sinner win a third-round match. She also made her rounds, stopping by Louis Armstrong Stadium to catch Tommy Paul's victory and meeting Iga Swiatek, the current women's No. 1 player.
