Singer Shreya Ghoshal announced on Saturday the postponement of her highly anticipated Kolkata concert. The decision comes in light of the recent rape and murder at RG Kar hospital, an incident that has deeply affected Ghoshal.
In a post on X, Ghoshal explained that the event, initially set for September 14, 2024, will now be rescheduled to October 2024. She stressed the necessity of taking a stand and joining those protesting in solidarity.
Ghoshal expressed her sorrow and hope that fans would understand and support the decision, urging everyone to stand united against acts of violence. Her promoters, Ishq FM, are also in agreement about the change.
