Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha underscored the critical role of curiosity in lifelong learning and urged teachers to proactively embrace change during the 39th foundation day of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in Katra. Sinha emphasized the need for adopting new syllabi to ensure holistic education across society.

Sinha highlighted the importance of integrating moral values and scientific thinking into the education system to enrich knowledge. He remarked that character building is essential for nation-building, stressing that teachers should overcome the fear of change.

Serving as the chairman of the shrine board, the L-G also recognized the board's efforts to facilitate pilgrimages and enhance the spiritual experience of devotees. Sinha honored meritorious students and staff, launched a book by Dr. Neelam Sareen, and unveiled the third edition of SMVD Gurukul's annual magazine.
