Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday directed officials to expedite the development of the famous Lord Narasimha temple at Yadagirigutta, located around 60 kilometers from Hyderabad. The aim is to create a governing body for its administration, similar to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

During a meeting with ministers and officials, Reddy reviewed health and eco-tourism projects alongside the temple circuits' development. He emphasized the acceleration of gold plating works on the temple's 'Rajagopuram'.

He also requested a comprehensive status report on the Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) and the pending developmental tasks. Additionally, Reddy instructed officials to devise plans for a new zoo park on Hyderabad's outskirts and enhance tourism policies by studying the best practices from other states. Plans for introducing heli tourism were also discussed.
