Star-Studded Sci-Fi: 'Eyes in the Trees' Set to Begin Filming

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers of 'Tudors' fame and 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene have signed on for the sci-fi feature 'Eyes in the Trees,' joining Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins.
The film, a fresh take on H.G. Wells' 1896 novel 'The Island of Doctor Moreau,' chronicles the harrowing adventure of a video journalist and his crew who venture into an isolated forest, only to find themselves in a desperate fight for survival. Timothy Woodward Jr., an Emmy Award-winning director known for 'Studio City' and 'Til Death Do Us Part,' will helm the project. The screenplay is crafted by B. Harrison Smith, Mike Manning, and Dominic Burns.
Speaking to the press, Woodward Jr. said, 'Having the opportunity to work closely with the legendary Sir Anthony Hopkins and the rest of this incredible cast is a true honor. It has been deeply inspiring, and I'm genuinely grateful for the experience.' Production of the movie is scheduled to commence later this year, with shooting set to take place in Thailand.
