Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday assured the public that no one will be displaced due to the proposed Banke Bihari Temple Corridor in Mathura. He emphasized the creation of a detailed action plan to prioritize the rehabilitation needs of affected individuals.
Adityanath stressed the need for multi-level parking and commercial spaces within the corridor. He also emphasized improving services for devotees and tourists in Mathura-Vrindavan, including increased security and better civic amenities.
The Allahabad High Court approved the corridor plan in November last year, involving the acquisition of approximately five acres around the temple.
