A Telangana native, Shahzad Khan, has died in Saudi Arabia. His family, lacking details about the cause of his death, has urged authorities for the repatriation of his body to India.

According to Fazal, Khan's uncle, they were asked by Khan's employer to send an affidavit to facilitate a post-mortem examination and the return of Khan's remains. The family also requested the issuance of an FIR, death certificate, and other pertinent documents.

Shahzad Khan had been working in Saudi Arabia as a survey engineer for six years. Media reports suggested he died alongside a Sudanese colleague due to dehydration and exhaustion in the desert after their GPS signal failed. However, his family denies these reports and demands a thorough investigation. Khan's wife and two children are currently residing in Karimnagar.
