Memorial to Honour BJP Stalwart Kushabhau Thakre in Madhya Pradesh

A memorial will be constructed to honour BJP and Bharatiya Jana Sangh stalwart late Kushabhau Thakre in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Monday.
Additionally, a gallery dedicated to Thakre's life will be developed at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre. Yadav made this announcement on Thakre's birth anniversary, which aligns with August 26 by the Hindu calendar, though he was born on August 15, 1922.
'A memorial will be constructed at the birthplace of Thakre in Dhar district, and a gallery dedicated to his simple lifestyle will be developed in the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre in Bhopal,' Yadav said. He described Thakre as a figure who dedicated his life to the nation, known for his simplicity and minimalistic lifestyle. 'His work to expand the organization and empower it will inspire and enlighten everyone in the party,' Yadav added.
State BJP chief VD Sharma echoed these sentiments, stating that Thakre was known for his hard work, service, and ability to run and expand the organization with mutual cooperation and funds, bringing everyone together.
