Tamil Nadu Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin highlighted a series of accomplishments by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department over the past three years, describing the period as a 'golden era' under DMK rule.
Speaking virtually at the 'Anaithulaga Muthamizh Murugan Manadu,' a religious conference held in Palani, Udhayanidhi emphasized that the DMK government respects all faiths and fosters inclusivity. The conference was organized by the HR&CE department and held in one of Lord Muruga's six holy abodes.
Stalin listed initiatives like reclaiming 6,000 acres of temple lands, consecrating about 1,400 temples, and feeding over one lakh devotees daily. He affirmed that the Dravida model of governance prioritizes unity and inclusivity, as demonstrated by the appointment of temple priests from all castes.
