Actor Blake Lively, known for her performances in 'The Age of Adaline,' 'The Shallows,' 'It Ends with Us,' among others, celebrated her birthday today, August 25, with husband Ryan Reynolds in Rhode Island, as reported by People. The couple enjoyed a relaxing day together, with Reynolds, 47, donning dark sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a button-down shirt, while Lively wore an orange halter top and had her hair styled in a bun.

Long-time friends Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were first seen together nearly a decade ago. The 'Karma' singer even supported Lively by bringing her to cheer for Kelce at the 2024 Super Bowl in February. Lively and Reynolds, too, have been busy, with their films 'It Ends with Us' and 'Deadpool & Wolverine' both topping the box office this month—the first time a married couple has achieved this feat in over 30 years. The last couple to reach similar success was Bruce Willis and Demi Moore with 'Die Hard 2' and 'Ghost' in 1990.

'It Ends with Us' grossed over $50 million in its opening weekend, while 'Deadpool & Wolverine' raked in $54.2 million. Reynolds humorously noted that the friendly box office rivalry was "the only time in my life I've ever dreamt of coming in second." He emphasized that their mutual support is key to their strong relationship. Lively shared during the New York City premiere of 'It Ends with Us' that Reynolds wrote the movie's iconic rooftop scene, adding, "We help each other. He works on everything I do; I work on everything he does. His wins are mine, and mine are his."
