War's Youngest Victims: The Harrowing Journey of Mostafa Qadoura
Mostafa Qadoura, an infant from Gaza, was severely injured in an Israeli strike and later evacuated to Egypt for medical treatment. His mother and siblings were killed in subsequent bombings, leaving his grandmother as his guardian. Mostafa's story underscores the dire impact of conflict on Palestinian children.

When Mostafa Qadoura was just a week old, an Israeli strike on his Gaza Strip home last October launched him and his crib into the air, inflicting irreparable damage to his right eye and killing one of his brothers.
Mostafa was later evacuated to Egypt after the hospital treating him was besieged by the Israeli army. Now a 10-month-old with chubby cheeks, he remains a smiling and active child despite the immense challenges ahead.
His mother and another brother were killed in a separate Israeli strike shortly after his evacuation. He will need multiple surgeries to adjust his artificial eye, and his return to Gaza remains uncertain amid ongoing conflict.
