Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge expressed deep anguish over the tragedy and extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving families. He urged the government to provide immediate compensation and ensure the victims receive justice through a high-level probe.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has ordered an inquiry into the event and assured stringent action against those responsible if negligence is found. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also expressed sorrow and called for adequate compensation and treatment for the injured.
