A tragic fire accident at Escientia Advanced Sciences Pvt Ltd in Visakhapatnam has claimed 17 lives and injured 33 others. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit the accident victims on Thursday and inspect the site.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to meet injured workers undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Venkojipalem and the attending medical teams. At 1:30 pm, Naidu will visit the pharma company where the fire broke out on Wednesday.

Preliminary assessments indicate that the fire was caused by solvent leakage, which led to an explosion. The accident has caused widespread grief, with families of the affected workers waiting anxiously for news of their loved ones.
